3 Things You’ll Never Hear Nutritionists Say

There are so many weight loss myths out there to deceive people trying to lose weight and get lean. If you are unsure of the so called ‘facts’ portrayed by nutritionists, here are a few tips to help you.

We’ll be unveiling 3 things a lot of nutritionists will leave out about losing weight and getting lean. Some of the truths are so far off from what you hear the professionals say:

  • Try anything: In weight loss, anything actually works. In 2010, a professor from Kansas State University lost 27 pounds in 10 weeks by junk food that’s ‘bad for us’. Also, his “bad” cholesterol numbers actually dropped 20% and his “good” cholesterol jumped by 20%. Basically, if you burn more calories than you take, you will lose weight no matter what. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be eating rich, nutritious foods though.

  • Eating Frequently doesn’t help: You should understand that having frequent meals does not increase metabolism. Research in the British Journal of Nutrition also found that high-frequency eating doesn’t help lose weight faster compared to low-frequency. Rather, increasing meal frequency actually raises hunger and the desire to eat. Finally, research from The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that eating less frequently could actually increase your metabolism.

  • Supplements are helpful: Unlike people say, most people could really benefit from supplements. They’re easy and help you get the things I miss. Also, there’s plenty of research available that shows the helpfulness of supplements. Sure, eating the real thing is a better option, but you won’t get all the vitamins and minerals you need every single day.
