2020 Ivory Coast Presidential Election: “We Will Win the Elections” Brags Simone Gbagbo

Simone Gbagbo held a rally on Sunday 17 February 2019 at the headquarters of his party. The former first lady of Côte d’Ivoire is confident about the future of the FPI (Ivorian Popular Front).

In the era of the presidential election of 2020, all political parties are stirring up to defeat the solid pawns.

In front of the national and international press the former political prisoner launched a “challenge”.

Mrs. Gbagbo serenely galvanized the troops. She firmly believes that the FPI is likely to emerge victorious in 2020, but only if the activists join hands and advocate peace.

If we work for the nation, we will win the elections … We are obliged to go to reconciliation and peace. When I speak of peace, I do not speak of hypocritical peace, but of a peace of love, sincere and filled with affection. I plead for a rich Ivory Coast where men and women produce the wealth that first belongs to Ivorians before belonging to foreigners, “says Gbagbo.

Moreover, the ex-first recalled the stakes for the return of her husband in Côte d’Ivoire. According to the political scientist, all cadres and supporters of the party must hope for a definitive return of their leader.
