Forbes: Top 10 World’s Highest-Paid Artistes Of 2015 (Diddy now #8, guess the new #1)

Forbes has released a list of the world highest-paid music artistes of 2015, with Katy Perry ranked No. 1.

According to Forbes:

“To form our list, we looked at pretax income from June 2014-June 2015 from concerts, record sales, publishing, endorsements and other business ventures. As usual, we did not deduct fees for managers, agents and lawyers. We used data from Nielsen SoundScan, Pollstar and RIAA, and information from industry sources including some of the artists themselves.”

Surprisingly, Jay Z and Beyoncé, who ranked No. 13 and 14 with $56 million and $54.5 million, respectively did not make the top-earning couple. The honour was bagged by Swift and Harris, who combined to earn $146 million, thanks mostly to their endorsements and live shows.

1. Katy Perry – $135 million

2. One Direction – $130 million
