It appears that the Secret Service has started to wear the agents down since the Trump family are stacking up with a great deal of work on their shoulders, and they are quite recently not able to bear. What’s more, the most noticeably bad part is they’re not even being acknowledged.
The New York Times has published a report claiming that the huge cost of keeping the Trump family safe is forcing the Secret Service to cut cost elsewhere.
To keep the Trump’s family safe and offering a round the clock guard duty, Secret Service Agents are being pulled off from the criminal investigation. The move has been taken to safeguard Melania Trump and her son Barron at the Trump Tower. They’re rotating the duty in two-week shifts.
Moreover, the Secret Service Agents have to give protection to all of Trump’s children. When Eric and his wife Lara, Donald Trump Jr and his wife Vanessa, and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner went to Aspen, CO, the Secret Service Agent had the hard time to gather more agents to organize a group to babysit them.
If this wasn’t enough, Trump’s weekly vacations to his Mar-a-Lago resort has made it more hard for the Secret Service, who couldn’t have possibly predicted that Trump would go for vacation every weekend.
To make it worse, Trump has also assigned agents to protect White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, National Security adviser H.R. McMaster, and Kellyanne Conway.
The Secret Service had never had such workload in its entire history.
It’s high time that President Trump acknowledges Secret Service’s work and lessen the burden of work for them.
