The US Military Shows North Korea, What A Real Nuclear ICBM Looks Like!

The US military successfully tested a nuclear intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Wednesday.

The Air Force launched an unarmed Minuteman III missile launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, just after midnight, the service said. The ICBM flew over 4,000 miles, landing near the Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands.

The launch “ensures” that the United States is able to maintain a “strong and credible nuclear deterrent” as an important part of national security, “the Air Force said in a statement. The Minuteman ICBM system is in service for 60 years, and thanks to improvements and improvements, this weapons system continues to meet the needs of the US military.

“These Minuteman launches are essential to verify the status of our national nuclear force and to demonstrate our national nuclear capabilities,” Colonel John Moss, 30th Commanding Officer of the Space Wing, told WRAL.

The missile test lies in the midst of growing tensions in Korea as the North tries to develop an ICBM capable of hitting targets in the continental United States with a nuclear warhead.

“We have reached the final stage of preparations to test the launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile,” said young North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in his New Year speech, adding that “research and development ‘Advanced armament equipment is progressing actively’.

“Just because the United States is located more than ten thousand kilometers do not make the country safe,” said Rodong Sinmun, the main publication of the ruling Labor Party. “Soon, our ICBM will send the thrill of the spine [of America]”. ”

During a massive military parade marking the 105th anniversary of the birth of North Korean founder Kim Il Sung on 15 April, North Korea deployed several ICBM modeling, including two previously unseen variants.

North Korea has not yet demonstrated an appropriate reintegration vehicle for an ICBM, and it is unclear whether it has developed an appropriate nuclear warhead. Nevertheless, some observers suspect that North Korea might have the opportunity to strike the American continent at the end of President Trump’s first term.
