The Danish Monarch was in the country for a three-day visit geared towards strengthening ties between Ghana and the European country.
This is the first time that a Danish Monarch is visiting Ghana and President Akufo-Addo took the time to give her a nice treat by organizing a dinner in her honor.
In attendance at the ceremony were a host of government appointees, including some ministers and diplomats.
Ex-presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor were also present at the State Dinner held at the Flagstaff House.
Her Majesty Margrethe II arrived in the country with a business delegation, including Denmark’s Foreign Affairs minister.
