Grace Mugabe’s Net worth Revealed- 10 Most Expensive Properties She Owns

She was one of the most feared women in Zimbabwe, she is thought to have recently fled into political exile and she is thought to have an estimated net worth of around $15 Million – $30 Million Dollars.

 

10. Gracelands Palace

Built at a cost of $500,000 dollars, this large mansion was build in Borrowdale, after Grace married Robert Mugabe in 1996.

Its thought that some of the funds were drawn from funds that were set aside for low cost housing projects in the area, however she stated that she had paid for the mansion from her own personal funds… hmm we will let you decide.

The mansion is named after Elvis Presley’s mansion in Memphis, Tennessee and was later sold to the Libyan Government under the control of the Late Colonel Gaddaffi for a reported price close to $3 Million Dollars.

Its currently unclear as to what lies inside the mansion, however its thought to contain a large amount of bedrooms, bathrooms and a private indoor swimming pool.

 

9. Mazowe Mansion

Built on the outskirts of Mazowe farm, this 2 storey mansion is thought to still be under construction and prices for the development are thought to near $1 Million Dollars.

Its thought Grace Mugabe evicted around 300 residents to obtain the land to build the mansion in 2012.

The mansion is said to feature luxury bathrooms, bedrooms, a private cinema and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

The mansion is surrounded by the rolling fields of farmland, which were also seized by the controlling government.

 

8. Farmland

Its thought that Grace Mugabe, along with her husband Robert Mugabe owns around 16 farms throughout the country, but mainly close to the capital Harare.

One farm, called Manzou is thought to have been purchased by her for an unknown price, with a game reserve set up on the site.

The farm features picturesque scenery, rolling mountains and is covered in lush green Maize crops.

The mazowe dam also sits on the farmland with large pipes and other structures thought to be under construction to provide water to the house.

The estate has a 2 meter high wall surrounding the property and it is guarded by a large number of plain clothes security officers and secret police.

Two large granite block towers stand at either side of the gate and these resemble the Great Zimbabwae Towers.

 

7. Hong Kong Real Estate

Its been revealed that Grace Mugabe and her surrounding family own several residences in Hong Kong.

One of these is a large mansion nicknamed JC Castle and this is thought to be a bolt hole that has been designed as a work place for her daughter while attending university and also to escape political events in Zimbabwae.

Its thought there is also a diamond cutting business owned by Grace Mugabe somewhere in the city.

6. Blue Roof State Residence

Owned Jointly by her and her husband this massive $26 million dollar residence is thought to have been built to celebrate the life works of Robert Mugabe and a thanks from the state for his service.

The house is thought to have been paid for by the Zanu-PF party and features bullet proof windows, 25-bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, two lakes and sits on 44 acres of landscaped grounds.

The whole estate is rumoured to be protected by a multi million pound radar system and has a Chinese-style roof clad in midnight blue tiles from Shanghai.

 

5. Rolls Royce Ghost

Thought to be one of the only cars owned by Grace Mugabe, she picked this model up while visiting South Africa for a reported price of half a million dollars.

The car can go from Zero to 60 mph‎ in ‎4.7-4.8 seconds, has a top speed of around 155 miles per hour and its thought her car may have been upgraded to include armour plating and bullet proof windows.

The car is one of the quietest ever created by the company and features an extended wheelbase along with a luxurious interior.

She is thought to own several other cars including a 4×4 and a Mercedes AMG that are regularly used for political promotion at rallies.

4. Handbag Collection

Grace Mugabe is thought to own a large collection of handbags from companies such as Gucci and Jimmy Choo.

Her luxury shopping trips have given her the nickname Gucci Grace and this collection is also thought to extend to other luxury items such as clothing and shoes.

3. 100-carat Diamond Ring

Back in 2015, its thought Grace Mugabe ordered a $1.35 Million dollar diamond ring to celebrate her the anniversary of her wedding to the 93-year-old Robert Mugabe.

The ring however was never delivered and its thought that a large part of the payment may not have been returned.

Its understood that a ring worth only $30,000 dollars was produced and was rejected, leading to a court case.

 

2. Shcools and Orphanage

Throughout the last several years, a large proportion of the schools in Zimbabwe have been build by Grace Mugabe.

These schools are located in Mazowe village about 20km west of Harare and are thought to be aimed at children from a privileged background.

The schools are built on land taken, without payment, from an old white couple 15 years ago and are housed in three double-storey blocks.

The schools, which are close together are thought to contain an indoor swimming pool and under-cover hockey field and three other buildings on the same land are situated behind a 5m high, 4km long wall.

 

1. Former Teede Residence

Earlier in 2017, Grace Mugabe is thought to have purchased even more land in Harare and this came at a price of around $4.2 Million Dollars.

The plot of land is thought to cover around 55 acres and sits opposite The Mugabe’s Blue Roof Residence in Harare.

Plans for a housing development on the site have been put on hold since the purchase of the property, which is thought could hold up to 75 homes.

The sprawling plot is strewn with mainly Msasa trees and metal sculptures close to the entrance and is surrounded by a perimeter fence.
