For Being Sub-standard, South African Students Set Their School On Fire [Video]

According to report reaching us from Timeslive, a school has been burned down in South Africa for being too ugly and sub-standard.

The students from Esokheni Secondary School were allegedly sad the state of their school when compared with other schools in their district. They also wanted free breakfast served as part of the existing school nutrition programme. .

And seeing that they were not getting the attention they want, they decided to torch the building. Speaking on the incident, the Education Department spokesperson, Kwazi Mthethwa‚ said the incident was being investigated.

“We are happy to report that classes‚ as well as trial examinations are continuing despite the interruption yesterday,” he added. Mthethwa confirmed that only two of the classrooms and a storeroom had been razed before the

fire was put out.
